Dewch i Arbed Dŵr / Let’s Save Water Cymru Launch Event

by | Oct 14, 2026

The water challenge facing Wales is significant, and addressing it will require action from all of us.

It was fantastic to be part of the Dewch i Arbed Dŵr / Let’s Save Water Cymru launch event last night, bringing together leaders from government, regulators, the water industry and a wide range of stakeholders to discuss the scale and urgency of water efficiency across Wales and England.

Ers ei lansio dros yr haf, ry’ ni’n gobeithio eich bod wedi gweld yr ymgyrch ar eich setiau teledu, wedi’i chlywed ar y radio neu wedi’i weld ar draws byrddau hysbysebu a bysiau yn eich ardal.

The event highlighted the vital role that behaviour change can play in reducing water consumption, alongside wider policy, infrastructure and industry measures. Through raising awareness and encouraging practical everyday actions, the campaign aims to help households and businesses use water more efficiently and sustainably. Gadewch i ni gyd ddod at ein gilydd i arbed yr hyn yr ydym gallu a chodi ymwybyddiaeth cynaliadwyedd yr ymgyrch hon!

Diolch i Owen Derbyshire am gadeirio a’n panelwyr gwadd arbennig Wendy Manuel, Simon Mutter, Gail Davies-Walsh, Sarah Jennings a Diane McCrea MBE.

We were also delighted to hear strong support from Llyr Gruffydd MS, Cabinet Minister for Rural Resilience and Sustainability, who delivered a keynote speech and reinforced the importance of collective action on water conservation.

Cadno Communications Ltd helped to bring together a cross-sector audience from across the water industry and wider stakeholder landscape to share ideas, insights and commitment to the challenge ahead.

Diolch to everyone who attended and contributed to such valuable discussions
